9b Joins “Write for Rights” Today, our class (9b) took part in a human rights action. We joined Amnesty International’s campaign “Write for Rights”. First, we read the stories of different people who have been unfairly imprisoned. It was really moving to learn what they are going through. Then we wrote letters to the Minister of Justice in Saudi Arabia and to Manahel Al-Otaibi, who is currently in prison. We also wrote to the President of Egypt and activist Oqba Hashad, and to the Mayor of Seoul and activist Kyung Seok Park. With the letters to the imprisoned activists, we wanted to show our support and give them hope. And with the letters to the government officials, we hope we can help bring change.

Das „FRANCE MOBIL“ kommt …ça bouge!

Unter diesem Motto standen die Französischstunden der Klassen 7a, 8a und 9a am 20. November.

Zur Erklärung: France Mobil ist eine Initiative des Deutsch-Französischen Jugendwerks (OFAJ). Junge Französinnen oder Franzosen kommen an deutsche Schulen, um mit Spiel, Musik und Animation den Französischunterricht zu bereichern.

Die Französischfachschaft (Mme Wilke, Mme Saillard) hatten eingeladen … und Gabrielle Fradin kam zu uns nach Kyritz. Mit vielen Ideen und französischem Charme begeisterte sie unsere Französischschüler. Ganz ohne Lehrbuch und Grammatikregeln dafür mit viel Spaß waren alle bei der Sache. Die anfängliche Scheu vor dem Sprechen war schnell vergessen, das Hörverstehen klappte auch! C‘ était fantastique!
